Traditional fiddle music has been passed down from generation to generation for centuries. Come join us as we continue this time honoured tradition, sharing tunes from many Canadian styles, including Prairie, Metis, Down East, Ottawa Valley, Quebecois, and Celtic.
FiddlyNess will feature jam sessions for all levels, exciting concerts, old time dances, new friends and new tunes, all in the beautiful setting of Ness Creek! See our Instructor and Registration tabs for more details! The sixth annual FiddlyNess Fiddle Camp dates are TBA. Ness Creek is home to many wonderful musical events and cultural adventures. The site is a 320 acre parcel in the heart of the parkland boreal forest, with an elegant mix of aspen and spruce. The creek wends its way through the site, and beckons all who find their way there to explore the natural beauty of the area. The "downtown" area will be the heart of the camp, where classes will take place during the day, and where the evening breezes will gently tease the sounds of strings singing and toes tapping into the dusky night sky.
